About Mencken Engineering LLC

Mencken Engineering was founded by Eric Mencken in the spring of 2021 with the intent to provide quality engineering services to the community. Mr. Mencken graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Engineering with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and has over 30 years of experience in the design and consulting field and is registered as a Professional Engineer in 32 states.

Services Provided:

• Design for general building lighting (interior, exterior and site).
• Design of low and medium voltage and power distribution systems for both commercial and industrial clients.
• Lighting Protection design
• Fire Alarm system design and layout.
• Documentation of existing power distribution systems for use with Arc Flash Evaluations.

• Municipal Sewer Projects– Sewer and raw water treatment plants and lift stations.

• Food Service – National Roll-Out Prototype design and local one-off designs for stand-alone and for insertion in institutional spaces and airports.
